First of all, I just want to say thank you thank you, thank you for taking such good care of Charlie, our golden-doodle, he has come home today in such a calm, happy manner! you guys, this woman treats the animals she takes care of like her children. prior to boarding our golden-doodle, she wanted to come and meet Charlie to build report and relationship. We spoke about our goals and intentions, and she had plans to meet every one of them. She was so professional and caring. I couldn't have asked for a better person to take care of her dog during this holiday season!! She treated Charlie as one of her own!! Her house and backyard is SO clean which is unbelievable considering she takes care of many dogs. She was so kind and warm. K9 Kent will definitely be my go to for anything I need!! Where do I even start!

Johanna is amazing! She is patient and understanding. She takes it slow and explains everything from the do’s and don’ts to your dogs behaviors. I am an official new dog mom to a German Shepard. We started with the 12 training classes and after the first 2 sessions my dog was showing improvement! From there we started doing her doggy day care 4x a week! My dog comes back tired from playing all day! She never has them locked in a kennel and she makes sure that all dogs behave and play nicely. While in day care my German Shepard has learned to stay, limit his barking at other dogs, and learned to share the affection people give to him and the other dogs.. I could keep going on about this amazing trainer and her work!

All I can say is.. your dog will improve and both of you will come out with more knowledge and as an added bonus become really good friends with Johanna!

Johanna has been a tremendous help with my growing puppy. We did the the private session trainings and have had a great experience. My golden puppy was so difficult but she is getting a lot better now because of her training advice. Johanna always goes above and beyond. I was new to the state and had just gotten my puppy. It was nice of her to show me which parks and trails I can take my dog to.

Johanna takes her time training. She properly corrects owner and canine and explains the do’s and don’ts. She is focused and dedicated to teach commands. She didn’t rush while my fur baby was being extra stubborn. She takes extra time when you need help. On occasions, she also went out of her way to ensure we had transportation and willing to work with our schedule. She is very flexible, affordable and experienced. We are very thankful that our pup is learning, and we are getting guidance in training at home and help with correcting unwanted behaviors. Three weeks ago this 5 month high energy cutie would not be able sit and stay in a single location.

Johanna from K9-Kent training solutions definitely knows her stuff. The way she explains things is easy to understand and the dogs respond fast to her training methods. I have show dogs and they will be Johannas clients for a while, so much more they have to learn and K9-Kent is most definitely the place to get it done. If you just want to brush up on some obedience or want to do some more advanced stuff, this is the place I recommend.

I sent both of my adult German shepherds to Johanna for a few weeks training/boarding and they have improved so much from where they started. Johanna has helped tremendously with both of their individual issues, one with aggression towards other dogs and the other with her discomfort with people. They are both less barky and better behaved around their ‘triggers’. She has been an incredible asset and has continued to help even more with private coaching/training sessions. I am so glad I found her! I had a puppy (1 yr old) that was terrorizing my older dog and making him be a recluse and he liked to nip at my kids (more so to herd while playing with) and nothing I was able to do would stop him. With the world being like it is and all of us being at home ALL THE time, my anxiety was sky high. So I contacted Johanna and she totally understood everything that was bothering me about him. She took him for a week to give us all a break and see what he was doing. She taught him some manners and gave us many tips and tricks to help him work better in our home. He has been home almost a week now and is listening better. Not attacking my older dog and playing nicely with him and the kids. My anxiety with him is almost non existent. I can't thank Johanna enough for everything she has done for us. Our German Shepherd puppy used to have a problem with leash pulling and barking at other dogs... with Johanna's help and guidance our pup has drastically changed his behavior. Currently he's walking by my leg, no pulling occurs and he's not getting distracted with other dogs. We are often complimented on Dobby's behavior. I feel confident to take him to any public place (malls, buses, banks etc). I feel relieved and happy. Walks with Dobby are relaxing, not stressful and embarrassing how they used to be.
